Trees OF HOPE

Our flagship fundraiser is back for it’s 7th year, and we need your help to raise $100,000 for kids with brain cancer.

We have beautiful fresh 6ft and 8ft Christmas trees to purchase. There’s also tree stands, home deliveries, Santa visits, Santa photos, yummy food, coffee, treats, raffles and prizes on offer. Every tree purchases comes with a free Santa photo thanks to our wonderful MAJOR SPONSOR Innovative Home Loans. 100% of proceeds from every purchase will fund research and clinical trials for kids with DIPG at Children’s Cancer Institute.

PICKING UP YOUR TREE

Trees will be available to pick up at Cronulla Seagulls Football Club

  • Tuesday, December 1, 3pm-5pm

  • Saturday, December 5, 9am - 12pm

Home delivery is available on the following dates and times for delivery within the Sutherland Shire only. If you’re not home, no problem. Leave a bucket filled with water at your door and we will leave your tree in it:

  • Tuesday, December 1, 2pm - 5pm

  • Friday, December 4, 10am-1pm

buy a tree, win a luxury escape

Every person who buys or donates a tree goes into the draw to win a two-night escape at the 5-star Fullerton Hotel in Sydney, staying in an Executive Suite with breakfast, afternoon tea, evening canapes and cocktails included, worth $2,500. Your tree purchase includes a free, professionally-styled Santa photo, thanks to our special friends Innovative Home Loans. You will also receive a print and digital download.

DONATE A TREE

Want to make Christmas a little brighter for someone who needs it? Simply choose your tree size, select Donate a Tree under the Pick Up, Delivery or Donate menu, and add a stand if you wish. We’ll arrange a special delivery on your behalf to spread a little extra Christmas cheer. This year, we’re working with oncology families, hospital networks, the disability sector and special schools to share the magic.

ONE-OFF DONATION

Don’t want a tree but still want to contribute? Make a one-off donation by choosing Donate Cash under the Pick Up, Delivery or Donate menu.

We’re selling Cook Community Raffle tickets ONLINE and in person this year, with 100% of profits going to Levi’s Project. There’s 7 incredible prizes up for grabs, including:

Get your tickets by scrolling down to the Give A Little Extra section and selecting the Cook Community Raffle Tickets option. Once you have purchased your book of tickets, we will fill out the raffle stubs for you and email you your ticket numbers. Or you can buy tickets in person when you pick up your Chrissy tree at the clubhouse.

FOOD & FESTIVITIES

On Saturday, December 5, there’ll be a soft play area to keep the kids entertained while you wait for your Santa photos. We’re also cooking up delicious food in the canteen, plus coffee, cold drinks, pastries, snow cones and cupcakes. There’s also an epic raffle with incredible prizes.


Important notes about your tree

  • Our trees are living, breathing, beautiful things, grown with love over five years from seed to maturity from our farmers in ACT, NSW and Victoria. They will have imperfections and gaps in branches. Some will be bushy and some will be lean. There may be some brown bits and some bare bits. With some carefully placed decorations, all of them can look magical.

  • For the 6ft trees, while we are given a 6ft guideline from our suppliers, we have found that tree sizes vary considerably from 5ft to 7ft. Some people prefer small trees, others big.

  • Our 8ft trees are genuinely 8ft. We affectionately call them our ‘monsters’ and we have loads available this year for pre-order only.

  • Everyone who works at this event is a volunteer, and we feel very proud that every cent we make will help Aussie kids with brain cancer. We hope you feel proud too, knowing what a difference your tree purchase is making.
